The North Universalist Chapel Society of Woodstock, Vermont, seeks a Coordinator of Religious Exploration to develop and supervise the education of the congregation’s children. We are a vibrant and supportive community of approximately 200 adults and 45 children. We are looking for a creative and dynamic person who loves children and who can step into a collaborative leadership role to guide the growth of our religious exploration (RE) program. The coordinator will have the full support of an established, active RE committee. This is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) 10-month position. Compensation is $13,000 - $18,000, depending on experience.

The competitive applicant will:

1. Have demonstrated success working with children and volunteers (teaching experience is a plus);
2. Be an effective administrator with a positive attitude and strong organizational and communication skills;
3. Have the ability and desire to grow the RE program, participate in training opportunities, and advance professionally; and.
4. Have strong references.
