Tropical Storm Irene – August 28, 2011

On August 28, 2011, Tropical Storm Irene caused massive flooding throughout central and southern Vermont.  Woodstock and its surrounding communities were hit hard. These pictures focus on the church property pre-Irene,  immediately after the Ottauquechee River rose, and five days later, after dozens of volunteers spent hours cleaning up the debris.
